Growing up overweight and non-athletic gave him the kickstart to cultivate some serious changes within himself to begin making the best of the body he was given. By committing to a regular fitness routine, he was able to lose 50lbs and drop 25% body fat in just a few months. This experience made him obsessed with fitness and anything relating to it. He began reading books, researching articles, watching videos, talking with other fitness enthusiasts, experimenting with all sorts of different types of training, and helping some of his friends and family with workout and diet tips. In his search for various resources to further his own knowledge, he met a man that would change his life forever. Jared Tavasolian, now close friend and mentor, introduced Brandon to the concept of training movement practices. Exposing him to new perspectives about digestive health and practical fitness through research into The Paleo Diet and various movement methodologies such as The Ido Portal Method, GymnasticBodies, CrossFit, and MovNat. Studying these methods gave Brandon and those who practiced alongside him a new outlook on ways to not just look better and feel better, but live better as human beings in the process. He has always had a passion for movement and started his humble beginnings as a dancer. After touring with some major artists around the United States he decided to teach others what he learned. In 2007 he began working with several after school programs throughout Los Angeles. While on a nation wide tour with The Harlem Globetrotters in 2012 he was introduced to Crossfit. <br> <br>He fell in love with the community as well as the challenge and decided to become a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer 2015.
